Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Certain MU-2B-10 to MU-2B-60 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is considering a proposed airworthiness directive (AD) for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Models MU-2B-10 to MU-2B-60 airplanes, following mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) from another country regarding reports of cracks in the wing spacer plates, which could compromise wing structural integrity and control.
