DoD Issues Final Rule on Rights in Technical Data for Major Weapon Systems

The Department of Defense (DoD) is publishing a final rule to implement a section of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016, which addresses rights in technical data relating to major weapon systems, expanding the presumption that a commercial item has been developed entirely at private expense.
