FMCSA Allows Voluntary Mounting of Windshield-Mounted Devices on Commercial Motor Vehicles

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has amended the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations to permit the voluntary installation of certain safety devices on the interior of commercial motor vehicle windshields, including areas swept by windshield wipers, under the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act.
