EPA Partially Denies and Grants Petition to Object to Yuhuang Chemical Company's Operating Permit

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator signed an order on August 31, 2016, partially denying and partially granting a petition by the Louisiana Environmental Action Network (LEAN) and Sierra Club to object to an operating permit issued to Yuhuang Chemical Company, Inc.'s Methanol Plant in Louisiana. The EPA has set a deadline of November 28, 2016, for any petition for judicial review of the order to be filed.
