CFTC Determines EU Laws Sufficient for Comparability with DCOs and CCPs

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has found that EU laws provide a basis for comparability with certain regulatory obligations for derivatives clearing organizations and central counterparties registered with the CFTC and operating in the EU, allowing for substituted compliance with financial resource and risk management requirements.
