Bombardier Issues Revised Airworthiness Directive for Certain Regional Jets to Prevent Loss of Controllability During Landing

Bombardier, Inc. is revising its Airworthiness Directive (AD) for certain Regional Jet Series models to require more frequent inspections and repairs to prevent the main landing gear from failing to fully extend, which could lead to loss of controllability during landing.
