EPA Approves North Carolina's Air Plan to Meet 2010 NO2 NAAQS

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized its approval of North Carolina's State Implementation Plan (SIP) to demonstrate compliance with the Clean Air Act's 2010 1-hour nitrogen dioxide (NO2) national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS). The plan, submitted by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality (NCDAQ), on August 23, 2013, meets EPA's required infrastructure elements for the 2010 1-hour NO2 NAAQS.
