BAE Systems Proposes Update to Airworthiness Directive for Certain BAe 146 and Avro 146-RJ Airplanes

BAE Systems (Operations) Limited proposes to update its Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2012-16-08 for certain Model BAe 146 and Avro 146-RJ airplanes, expanding its applicability and requiring an additional inspection to detect potential issues with the fuselage skin. The updated directive aims to prevent a possible sudden loss of cabin pressure and injury to occupants by addressing bulging, surface anomalies, and cracking issues.
