EPA Finalizes Cross-State Air Pollution Rule Update to Reduce Ozone Pollution

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized the Cross-State Air Pollution Rule Update (CSAPR Update) to address interstate transport of ozone pollution under the 2008 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), aiming to reduce ground-level ozone pollution and improve public health in 22 eastern states.
