EPA Determines Washington's Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Permitting Program Meets Federal Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has deemed Washington's Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Permitting Program sufficient to meet federal standards, following a review of the state's program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and the Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments.
