DOE Adopts Inflation Adjustment for Civil Monetary Penalties

The Department of Energy has published a final rule to adjust its civil monetary penalties for inflation, as mandated by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990, to ensure they keep pace with rising costs.
