Duke Energy Carolinas to Operate William States Lee III Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2 Under Modified Indemnity Agreement

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing a notice of intent to enter into a modified indemnity agreement with Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC, to operate William States Lee III Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2, due to the unique timing provisions of a combined license (COL).
