Rhode Island Atomic Energy Commission

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering renewal of Facility License No. R-95, held by the Rhode Island Atomic Energy Commission (RIAEC or the licensee), for the continued operation of the Rhode Island Nuclear Science Center Reactor (RINSC reactor or the facility), located in the Narragansett, Washington County, Rhode Island. The NRC is issuing an environmental assessment (EA) and finding of no significant impact (FONSI) associated with the renewal of the license.
