NRC Requests Public Input on Source Protection and Accountability

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued a Staff Requirements Memorandum to evaluate the need for revising regulations or processes governing source protection and accountability for Category 3 quantities of radioactive material, seeking input from licensees, Agreement States, and the public.
