NRC Withdraws Guidance on Limit of Error in Nuclear Materials Control

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is withdrawing its Regulatory Guide 5.18, which provided guidance on the 'limit of error' in nuclear materials control, as the term 'limit of error' has been replaced by 'standard error' in the NRC's MC&A requirements. The NRC has issued separate guidance for the 'standard error' term.
