Somascan Incorporated Fined $7,000 by NRC for Decommissioning and Storage Violations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued an Imposition Order to Somascan Incorporated, requiring the company to pay a $7,000 civil penalty for non-compliance with decommissioning regulations and improper storage of licensed materials. The NRC previously issued a Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty on April 5, 2017.
