Omaha Public Power District Exempted from Certain Regulatory Requirements for Fort Calhoun Station

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Omaha Public Power District, allowing a certified fuel handler to approve emergency suspension of security measures at Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1, during severe weather or certain emergency conditions, in addition to a licensed senior operator.
