U.S. Customs and Border Protection to Establish Centers of Excellence and Expertise as Permanent Organizational Component

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is set to transition operational trade functions to the Centers of Excellence and Expertise (Centers), broadening their decision-making authority, and establish them as a permanent component of the agency, effective immediately.
