US Department of Justice Proposes to Restore Pre-AA96 Immigration Procedures

The Department of Justice is proposing to restore pre-2020 immigration procedures, including administrative closure, after a 2021 injunction blocked the implementation of the AA96 Final Rule, which aimed to limit the authority of immigration judges and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
