Agency Information Collection Activities; Proposed eCollection eComments Requested; Application for Tax-Exempt Transfer of Firearm and Registration to Special Occupational Taxpayer

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), part of the Department of Justice (DOJ), is requesting OMB approval for a new information collection related to the tax-exempt transfer of firearms and registration for special occupational taxpayers. This request follows a previously published notice in the Federal Register on July 6, 2023, which allowed for a 60-day public comment period.
