Federal Agencies Plan to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Salmon and Steelhead Harvest Actions in Columbia River Basin

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) intend to jointly prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to review harvest actions for salmon and steelhead in the Columbia River Basin, in preparation for a post-2017 U.S. v. Oregon Management Agreement and Endangered Species Act (ESA) Section 7 consultation process.
