US Department of Agriculture Admits Preliminary Agreement with World Organization for Animal Health on Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy Risk Designations

The US Department of Agriculture has confirmed its preliminary agreement with the World Organization for Animal Health on the designation of seven regions as having negligible risk of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, a condition also known as mad cow disease.
