USDA Proposes Increase in Onion Assessment Rate for South Texas Growers

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has proposed a rule to increase the assessment rate for onions grown in South Texas, from $0.05 to $0.065 per 50-pound equivalent, to fund program expenses, as recommended by the South Texas Onion Committee.
