US Department of Agriculture Requests Emergency Approval for State Beef Councils to Retain Assessment Portion

The US Department of Agriculture is seeking emergency approval from the Office of Management and Budget to allow states to retain a portion of assessments collected from beef producers under the Beef Promotion and Research Act of 1985, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
