USDA Adopts New Assessment Rate for California Walnuts

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for California-grown walnuts from $0.0465 to $0.0400 per kernelweight pound, as recommended by the California Walnut Board, which oversees walnut production and marketing in the state.
