US Establishes New Viticultural Area in Eastern Connecticut

The US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has designated a new viticultural area, the Eastern Connecticut Highlands, covering approximately 1,246 square miles in six Connecticut counties, allowing vintners to better describe their wines and consumers to identify them more easily.
