U.S. Department of Transportation Selects Projects for Pilot Program for Transit-Oriented Development Planning

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration has selected projects for Fiscal Year 2013 and 2014 funds under the Pilot Program for Transit-Oriented Development Planning, which aims to support comprehensive planning for new fixed guideway and core capacity improvement projects. The program, authorized under the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act, provides $19.98 million in funding.
