The U.S. Department of Energy has finalized energy conservation standards for single package vertical air conditioners and heat pumps, aligning with the American National Standards Institute/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1-2013 levels, in an effort to reduce energy consumption and save a significant amount of energy.
