Lone Star Railroad, Inc. and Southern Switching Company Seek Exemption for Rail Line Construction in Texas

Lone Star Railroad, Inc. and Southern Switching Company have filed a petition with the Surface Transportation Board to construct and operate a 3.18-mile rail line in Howard County, Texas, to deliver frac sand to an industrial park, with the goal of increasing efficiency in the transportation of crude oil to the Permian Basin.
