Pratt & Whitney Issues Airworthiness Directive for Certain Turbofan Engines

Pratt & Whitney is issuing an airworthiness directive for certain turbofan engines, including models with a low-pressure turbine 4th stage inner air seal, due to cracks discovered during routine overhaul, requiring removal of the affected part and scheduled maintenance to prevent engine failure and potential damage to the airplane.
