VA Proposes New Regulations to Ensure Safe Environment for Community Residential Care Residents

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is proposing amendments to its regulations governing community residential care facilities (CRCs) to improve the safety and prevent neglect or abuse of veteran residents, including prohibiting certain individuals from working at CRCs and requiring written policies and procedures to prevent mistreatment and abuse.
