EPA Proposes Approval of Michigan State Plan for Sewage Sludge Incinerators, Announces Negative Declaration for Small Municipal Waste Combustors

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve Michigan's State Plan to control air pollutants from Sewage Sludge Incinerators (SSI), following a public process that began in 2015. The plan is consistent with EPA's Emission Guidelines and makes the State Plan Federally enforceable once effective.
