NMFS Announces Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Fisheries Quota Filled for 2015

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has filled the 25-metric ton quota for Atlantic bluefin tuna bycatch in the Northeast Distant gear restricted area, requiring vessels to account for retained or discarded bluefin using available IBQ allocation, effective from November 12, 2015.
