Turbomeca S.A. Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Arriel 1E2 Turboshaft Engines

Turbomeca S.A. is proposing a new airworthiness directive to address reports of uncommanded in-flight shutdowns (IFSDs) in its Arriel 1E2 turboshaft engines, which could lead to engine failure, loss of control, and other safety issues if the tachometer box is not removed.
