FMCSA Receives 7 Exemption Applications for Commercial Motor Vehicle Drivers with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced the receipt of 7 applications for exemptions from the cardiovascular standard, allowing individuals with implantable cardioverter defibrillators to operate commercial motor vehicles in interstate commerce for up to 2 years.
