Pipeline Safety Agency Maintains Random Drug Testing Rate at 25 Percent for 2016, Provides Alternative for Contractors to Access DAMIS Reporting

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has confirmed that the minimum random drug testing rate for covered employees will remain at 25 percent for the 2016 calendar year. Contractors performing or ready to perform covered functions must submit drug and alcohol testing information, and PHMSA will provide an alternative method for accessing the Drug and Alcohol Management Information System (DAMIS) for 2015 reporting.
