U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to Wolf Creek Generating Station for Optimized ZIRLO Fuel Rod Cladding Material

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued an exemption to Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation, allowing the use of Optimized ZIRLO fuel rod cladding material at the Wolf Creek Generating Station, following a request submitted in January 2016 and supplemented in May 2016.
