U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Draft Regulatory Guide for Pressurized Water Reactor and Boiling Water Reactor Accidents

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public comment on a draft regulatory guide that provides new guidance for analyzing accidents at pressurized water reactors and boiling-water reactors, including fuel cladding failure thresholds and radionuclide release fractions.
