NRC and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Issue Supplement to Final EIS for FPL's Turkey Point Nuclear Plant COL Application

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, are issuing a supplement to the final environmental impact statement (EIS) for Florida Power and Light Company's (FPL) application for combined licenses (COLs) to construct and operate two new nuclear power plants at its Turkey Point site near Homestead, Florida. The supplement addresses 59 comment letters that were not included in the final EIS.
