The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe has submitted a petition to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to amend the FM Table of Allotments, allowing for the first local Tribal-owned service in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, on Channel 228C1, which can be allocated without violating minimum distance separation requirements.
