US Commission Modifies TCPA Rules to Exempt Debt Collection Calls

The US Commission has updated its rules under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) to allow autodialed and prerecorded calls made solely to collect debts owed to or guaranteed by the US, while implementing consumer protections such as limiting calls to three per 30 days and allowing consumers to opt-out.
