FDA to Host Public Workshop on Electronic Nicotine Delivery System Battery Safety Concerns and Establish Public Docket for Comments

The FDA Center for Tobacco Products is hosting a public workshop to discuss battery safety concerns in electronic nicotine delivery systems, including e-cigarettes, and gathering public comments on the issue, as part of its efforts to address overheating, fire, and explosion risks associated with ENDS batteries.
