FDA Clears CORDARONE Tablets for Sale, Citing Lack of Safety or Efficacy Concerns

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made a determination that CORDARONE (amiodarone hydrochloride) 200mg tablets were not withdrawn from sale due to concerns over their safety or effectiveness, allowing the agency to continue approving abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) for the product.
