FDA Releases Guidance on Veterinary Drug Residue Safety

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a guidance document (GFI #232) outlining a general approach to establishing an acute reference dose for residues of veterinary drugs in human food, developed by the International Cooperation on Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Registration of Veterinary Medicinal Products (VICH).
