Adjustments to Limitations on Designated School Official Assignment and Study by F-2 and M-2 Nonimmigrants
The Department of Homeland Security is updating its regulations to allow more flexibility for schools to manage international student programs and provide more opportunities for spouses and children of nonimmigrant students to study in the US. The new rule permits spouses and children of F-1 and M-1 students to enroll in study at an SEVP-certified school, but only for less than a full course of study.
