U.S. Department of the Treasury Adopts New Sanctions Regulations for Democratic Republic of the Congo

The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has finalized a rule updating the sanctions regulations for the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in line with Executive Order 13671 issued on July 8, 2014, to address the conflict in the country.
