CFTC Proposes Amendment to Swap Dealer Definition

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is proposing to increase the de minimis exception threshold for swap dealers from an unspecified amount to $8 billion in swap dealing activity over the past 12 months, excluding certain types of swaps and allowing the CFTC to determine calculation methodology.
