FHWA and FTA Extend Comment Period for Transportation Planning Rule

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) are extending the comment period for a proposed rulemaking on transportation planning, originally set to close on September 2, 2014, to October 2, 2014, in response to concerns from the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) about insufficient review time.
