EPA Denies North Carolina's Petition to Reconsider PSD Rule for PM2.5

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has denied a petition for reconsideration and amended rulemaking from the state of North Carolina regarding the Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) rule for particulate matter less than 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5), published in 2010.
