FMCSA Receives Applications for Exemptions from Vision Requirement for Commercial Motor Vehicle Drivers

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has received applications from 33 individuals seeking exemptions from the vision requirement for commercial motor vehicle drivers due to medical reasons. These exemptions would allow the applicants to operate CMVs in interstate commerce without meeting the prescribed vision requirement in one eye.
